    Transparency Projectors-There are 5 types of transparency projectors. These are Movie projectors, slide projectors, overhead projectors, magic lantern and enlargers/contact printers. I’m sure a majority of people have been to the movies. When you are in movies there is usually a room up in the back which projects things to the screen. In this room the projector used to project things to the screen for us to enjoy and watch is the movie projector. A slide projector is an old type of projector that isn’t use much nowadays. It is a projector that shows photographic slides. An overhead projector is something that most people know about and use. This is a projector of which where you place an overhead transparency on it and whatever is on the overhead transparency is what will be projected out for everyone to see. A magic lantern is pretty much the same as a slide projector but much older. Believe it or not a magic lantern is the ancestor of a slide projector. Lastly a enlargers/contact printers is a specialized transparency projector that is used to produced photographic prints using negative pictures.
